SALMON EN PAPILLOTE WITH BOURSIN
Salmon papillote recipe
Oh yummy, time for papillotes! Iconic in my supersonic bible (or repertoire), papillotes are actually beginning to be quite a regular at my friends’ table as well! And because winter is definitely here, I was looking for a comfy dish and my French Boursin cheese came straight away in my mind! This time though, I did not go for the basic one with garlic, no I took the chive and shallot one and it was absolutely perfect. The ingredients complemented each other beautifully, so enjoy the first papillote of the season!
The French touch to your table : the papillotes
Salmon and Boursin cheese : a match made in heaven
This dish is a perfect option for a quick and easy weeknight dinner or a romantic dinner at home. The Boursin cheese gives a creamy and tangy note to the dish, and the salmon provides a healthy dose of omega-3 fatty acids and protein.
It’s important to note that using Boursin cheese in this dish is obviously not the only way to go. You could also use other types of cheese, like a soft goat cheese, which also pairs well with fish. Also, you could use other types of fish, such as cod, or halibut, to make this lovely dish.
More papillote to try on :
Sea bream and cherry (here),
or a Dover sole with lemon and basil (here).
Bonne dégustation!
