COD WITH APPLE AND MONBAZILLAC PAPILLOTES

Oh yes, a little papillote with a waouh factor! Monbazillac is near my area in Dordogne. It is a sweet wine with a honey accent. For the little history, it’s Julius Caesar’s legions who brought wine in the Dordogne valley but you have to wait until the Middle-Age for the Monbazillac to appear. A legend said that the monks in the 10th century left their vineyards alloying a fungus to develop on the grapes giving this special taste…

Wine pairing : Saint-Romain (White) from Burgundy.
