Simple recipes are so good believe me! As a matter of fact, the more I cook for my family or friends, the more I can definitely agree. Just take this pasta dish I present you today : goat cheese, a bit of single cream, a lime and ta dah! A meal ready in no time. Between you and I, I can assure you that it has taken me more time to write this recipe than to realise it! :)
Wine pairing : Lacrima di Morro d’Alba (Red) from the Marche.
GOAT CHEESE AND LIME PASTA
Serves 4
400 g any short pasta
150 g goat cheese
The zest of 1 large lime
25 cl single cream
5 cl cooking water
1 garlic clove crushed
A pinch nutmeg
Olive oil
Cook the pasta in a saucepan in a large volume of boiling water for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, sizzle in a pan the garlic in a little bit of olive oil for 2 minutes.
Stop the heat and add the zest. Set aside.
In a little saucepan, gently heat the cheese with the cream and the nutmeg.
Once cooked, drain the pasta keeping a bit of cooking water and combine them with the goat cheese preparation.
Add the zest + garlic to the pasta and reheat a little bit.
Combine well and serve.
Pates au chèvre et au citron vert
Pour 4 personnes
400 g de pates courtes
150 g de fromage de chèvre
Le zeste d’1 gros citron vert
25 cl de crème fraîche liquide
5 cl d’eau de cuisson
1 belle gousse d’ail écrasée
Une pincée de muscade
Huile d’olive
