EASY VEGETARIAN STROGANOFF GNOCCHI
Autumnal delight: a Stroganoff recipe with a twist
Please find for today, a very easy vegetarian Stroganoff gnocchi recipe…
Autumn is the perfect season for warm, comforting meals that are full of flavour. One recipe that I love to make during this time of year is a Stroganoff gnocchi, a dish that is wrongly intimately connected with the Russian Tsars of the 15th century. In fact, the recipe has been adapted by a French cook from a traditional Russian beef fricassee…
I usually make Stroganoff with pasta, but one day, I found myself without any on hand. Instead, I decided to use some fresh gnocchi that I had in my fridge, and I was delighted with the results. Not only is the dish quick and easy to make, but it is also a hit with children.
A French twist on a Russian classic
For those who are unfamiliar with Stroganoff, it is a rich and hearty dish made with tender strips of beef, mushrooms, and onions in a creamy sauce. In brief, a classic beef French fricassee with Russian ingredients. The aromas are bold and satisfying, making it the perfect dish to warm you up on a chilly autumn evening. But do not worry, for this recipe my Stroganoff will be veggie!
Dine in style: Stroganoff and Luberon Rouge
Luberon Rouge, also known as Côtes du Luberon, is a red wine from the Rhône Valley region of France. The wine is made from a blend of grape varieties including Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre. The area has a Mediterranean climate and the wines are known for their rich, ripe fruit aromas.
The wine can be enjoyed young, but also have the potential to age well. They are produced in the Luberon mountains, which are located in the heart of Provence. The region is famous for its picturesque villages, and its wines have a unique character that reflects the Mediterranean terroir. These wines have a great balance of acidity and tannins, making them perfect to pair with hearty meals such as stroganoff.
