EGG, BACON, MARMITE AND PISTACHIO SANDWICH
Bacon and pistachios ? Why not! I was looking for a simple sandwich to make to go to the park and I had absolutely no ideas on what to put inside. Not sure on how this association came but it was very yummy indeed… and because I live in Great-Britain, I have added the quintessentially British ingredient : the marmite! ;)
EGG, BACON, MARMITE AND PISTACHIO SANDWICH
Serves 1
1 hard-boiled egg
1 generous tbsp of Philadelphia cheese
A dozen of pistachios crushed
2-3 cooked smoked bacon strips
Half a tsp of Marmite
Half a tsp of Marmite
2 slices of loaf bread
In a little bowl with a fork, reduce the egg with the Philadelphia and Marmite until pureed.
Add the pistachios.
Spread this mixture on one piece of bread.
Dispose the bacon slices on top.
Close with the second bread and enjoy!
Sandwich de bacon, œuf et pistaches
Pour 1 personne
1 œuf dur
1 généreuse CAS de fromage Philadelphia
Une dizaine de pistache écrasées
2-3 lanières de bacon sec
La moitié d’1 cac de Marmite
La moitié d’1 cac de Marmite
2 tranches de pain de mie
Dans un petit bol, réduire à la fourchette l’œuf, le Marmite et le fromage.
Ajoutez les pistaches.
Etalez cette mixture sur une tranche de pain.
Disposez par-dessus les lanières de bacon.
Fermez le sandwich avec la deuxième tranche de pain.
Dégustez.
