APPLE AND WALNUT CAKE

Moist apple and walnut cake

Walnuts and chestnuts are my favourite forest treasures. In a cake, grounded walnut is an absolute gem and I like to put it as much as I can a little bit everywhere!

It goes so well with cooked apple your palate will be enchanted!

To have a lovely moist cake, i did caramelised the apple with a little bit of butter (as we do in France) as well as a little bit of brown sugar (called cassonade in France).

An autumnal dish perfect for this warm winter…;)
